Many of us may order fish when dining out but may be reluctant to routinely cook fish at home.  If you have not yet added fish to your healthy cooking routine, make a committment now to substitute fish for red meat as a regular option for dinner. Including fish in your diet can be a great booster to your health and can help you lose weight. Studies recommend that you eat at least three servings a week. Why? Because fish is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids which can be beneficial to a healthy body and immune system.

Get ready for the 4th of July with an old favorite. Our green living tip today is: Plan a picnic for cheap family fun using our plan ahead meals filled with healthy cooking tips.

This weekend, start a tradition and plan something different. The new picnic does not have to include ants and a red checkered table cloth just like a barbeque does not have to be limited to hot dogs and hamburgers. BeCreative and plan a picnic in your back yard or apartment balcony or in the courtyard at mom or dad's office. When your family is looking to have cheap fun combined with healthy cooking, you may want to consider a healthy outdoor meal as your solution. Reviving the picnic seems challenging at first, but it really can be stress-free and enjoyable to have good family-times while having a picnic. Everyone will enjoy the eating outdoors and you can prepare plan ahead meals with low sodium recipes  that will provide people in your family with the option of staying on their healthy diet.

Yes, your coconuts, the fruit that gets made fun of more than any other tropical fruit. I know, your afraid that as soon as you pick one up and put it in your basket you'll be bombarded by wild monkeys chasing you through the store and Tarzan will come swinging in on his tree rope and rescue you from what could have been a treacherous experience. No, all joking aside, coconuts are one of the most healthiest foods on the planet.
